What is ACE
Already as a 13-year-old schoolboy, he took over the Jazz Club in Karlsruhe where he met Fritz Rau and a close friendship was born. As a student, he worked as a tour-manager of Lippman & Rau on diverse tours, and through his convincing achievements and know-how, became Fritz Rau´s partner already in 1982.
Hermjo Klein was the one who brought in 1997 for the first time the world-best dance show “Riverdance” to Germany. Nobody really believed on the success of this undertaking, but Hermjo Klein succeeded it, together with its English and Irish partners to establish “Riverdance” as most successful show of all times in Germany. Over 3.5 million visitors have seen “Riverdance” in Germany and the spectacle opened a new door for a particular genre. Hermjo Klein has worked meanwhile with nearly all large artists of the entertainment industry.
On the top of all these, Hermjo Klein is always searching for new innovative shows. He puts much energy into the close cooperation with artists and managements and feels very connected in the today’s time to the old values. This is of course the basis of the friendship which connects him with many of his artists.
The excellent contact with the media, sponsors and multipliers guarantee first-class media presence for the artist. Whereby the tours are not only promoted through the classical promotional activities such as posters and newspaper adverts, but many different methods of advertising are always being sought after and used.
Apart from organising and promoting tours, Hermjo Klein also produces own shows. He has produced together with Udo Lindenberg many of the “Udo Lindenberg” shows, to whom a thirty-five years old friendship connects him. Constantly looking for new paths in business distinguishes him from other promoters.
At the fore of his flexible and dynamic team, Hermjo Klein projects his personality and conviction, moulded through his engagement to music and his artistic enthusiasm. There are new potentials and plans for the future, like production and performance of musicals, plays and shows. ACE is also intending to turn to children’s entertainment. Hermjo Klein can rely on his experiences in the production of the plays for children, like “Urmel” and “Heidi”.
With the power and the clenched strength of a quoted enterprise like the DEAG in the back, it is sure that the ACE Entertainment GmbH is going to play an important role in the international concert business. ACE sees itself as a service enterprise, whose most ambitious goal is the satisfaction of the artists and visitors.
